Radica Berisha

Biography

Radica Berisha is a lifelong learning expert with a background in Yugoslav and World Literature. She taught Serbian and Albanian students Serbo-Croatian language and worked at Gymnasium Xhevdet Doda in Prishtina from 1982 to 1992. Later, she joined the Ministry of Education and Science in Kosovo, leading the Lifelong Learning Division until her retirement in 2020. Radica is known for championing the Career Guidance and Counselling Strategy, resulting in multiple donor-funded projects in Kosovo. She is passionate about intercultural collaboration, promoting democratic active citizenship, and contributing to curriculum development, including Serbian language courses, "work-life skills," and adult learning policies and frameworks.
