Emel Qehaja

Biography

Emel, a member of the Egyptian community in Fushe Kosova, graduated from the University of Prishtina with a degree in Technology-Informatics. She has a strong commitment to community engagement, particularly with the Roma and Ashkali communities. Emel worked as a tutor and facilitator at the Gjakova Learning Center, where she supported students from these communities with their homework, monitored the center's activities, and contributed to the development of guidelines for similar learning centers. Emel also served as an intern at the OSCE office in Prizen, focusing on the inclusion of children from RAE communities in primary schools. Currently, she teaches IT at Mihal Grameno School in Fushe Kosova.
